Top Five Reasons To Own A Puppy

IMG_4243For many reasons, Arya has changed my life. Although there are some times that she is hard to handle, Arya has brought so much joy to my life. Here are the top five reasons for which I am happy I adopted Arya.

1.  She is the World’s Best Cuddler. When she crawls up towards me and nestles into my arms, I cant help but smile.

2.  Her clumsy feet are adorable. Whether she is jumping, running, or playing with a toy, she will always find a way to lose her balance and stumble to her side.

3.  She is always happy to see me. It doesn’t matter if I have left her alone for 2 minutes or 2 hours, she is still so excited when I open the door.

4. Her loyalty. I know I will never be alone as long as I have her. She loves her mama and stays by my side. Although she may wander, she will never go too far.

5. Although not all of you will agree, puppy breathe is heart warming.  Just something about the smell always makes me happy.

There are so many more reasons, but those are my top five. When it comes to your puppy/dog, what are your top reasons that you’re happy to have them in your life?

  1. There is a reason they say that dog is man’s best friend. I love cuddling up with Boomer. It really goes with No. 4. She is so loyal to me. She always wants to cuddle or just be around me. Oh, and I don’t think you’re crazy at all for loving puppy breath. It is so yummy. I wish they could stay puppies, only without the chewing thing.

  2. I got a puppy a couple of years ago not realizing how much of a responsibility it really is, and ended up having to have my dad help me train him and now they are best friends, did you have any help with Arya as far as training?

    • I actually have had some help with training her. My roommates have given me a lot of advice on different methods. They have helped in other ways; like by enforcing the rules I make for Arya while we are at home. Having a puppy does take up a lot of my time, but I am just thankful I started while she was young.
